Beekeeping runs deep in our veins. Our journey into the world of apiculture began three generations ago in Eastern Europe. And as research began to surface about the population of bees declining considerably, we decided to establish Bee The Picc to help the honeybee in it's struggle to survive. Today, our business consists of a small family owned and operated apiary, sharing responsibilities between mom/dad, Simona & Toma, and three siblings: Ada (mommy of three), Moni (Cal State Fullerton alumni) and Tim (Tesoro High School junior).

Our honey comes second to our bees. Because we care for our hives, we only remove the excess honey which in turn we share with our family, friends and community. Further, we are dedicated to keep honey the way it was made and meant to be - raw. Our honey is pure, unfiltered and unadulterated (mixed with glucose solutions). The honey is taken directly from the hive, extracted from the comb, strained into its raw form, and bottled in environmentally-friendly glass jars with the intention to avoid plastic and to be recycled.
